How ChainBreaker processes data
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe processes payment details and the email address. The ChainBreaker server stores Stripe transaction, session and customer identifiers, the email address, amount, currency, payment status and time, a unique installer ID, the download count and the last download time. Card details never reach the ChainBreaker server.
To activate and verify entitlement, the server stores the licence mode, trial start and end, activation count and time, and the time of the last successful contact. The installer and app contact the server during installation, at startup and periodically—currently every 15 minutes. They send the installer and installation identifiers, activation-token hash, language or region, and proof of device binding: the public key and its hash for a TPM-protected private key, or an encrypted MAC address as auxiliary or fallback information. The private key never leaves the device. An update or reinstall on the same computer does not reset the trial.
When you make an instance permanent, the app sends the authenticated installation ID, rule category and the instance’s random identifier. The rule name, domain and application path are not sent. Releasing it requires a separate Stripe payment. Billing history retains the instance and installation identifiers, status, amount, currency and payment time to prevent repeated or incorrect unlocking.
Submitting a review is optional. The server stores and publishes the review text together with the installer ID, licence mode, verified usage duration, operating system, region, language, app version, and publication time and status. One review may be submitted for each activated installation.
